    Las Vegas - May 26, 1943 W 18-1-12 Mr. Frank Strong: Your memo May 23rd, file 1-7334 concerning expiration August 31, 1943 of lease Audit No. 9076 covering Las Vegas Ranch. In accordance with our conversation some time ago, I recommend a new lease for a period of 10 years be drawn in favor of W. T. Stewart, effective with the expiration of the present lease which was made to Albert Witwer subsequently taken over by his brother, Will Witwer and on the death of the latter, assigned to W. T. Stewart. I am asking Mr. McNamee with copy of this letter to draw up a lease similar to N.L.D. 104 of September 1, 1933 Audit No. 9076 with the following exceptions: Except from Ranch Description: City Cemetery - 10 acres City Cemetery Additions - 10 acres Disposal Plant - 5 acres New Disposal Site - 10 acres First Covenant: Rent $4,000 per year. $333.33 per month. Fourth: 2 Cu Ft. per second Fifth : Sub lease to Gates, Omit. With respect to the amount of water to be delivered mentioned in Fourth Covenant above, 2 second feet is approximate what will be delivered with the effluent from present disposal site together with what water is allowed to run down the creek, as at present and the present arrange-ment is satisfactory to Mr. Stewart.
