Re: Sale of Las Vegas Water System MAY 13 1354 ( J .P .r\ R C U , LOS ANGELES CAUF* Los Angeles, May 12, 19154 30-11 Mr. R. M. Sutton (ce - Mr. Win. Reinhardt Mr. L, R. Maag Mr. C. M. Bates) I think it is time to start assembling in Las Vegas the original records and documents which are to be delivered to the District on the sale date pursuant to the provisions of Exhibit "G" attached to the agreement between the Railroads, the Water Company and the Las Vegas Valley Water District dated June 1, 1953. I believe all of the documents referred to in sub-paragraphs (a), (b) and (c) of Item 1 of this exhibit are in your possession and that you have made photostatic copies thereof. I suggest that you send these documents to Mr. Maag for safekeeping pending the delivery thereof to the District. I understand he will arrange with the First National Bank of Nevada to store them temporarily in accordance with his letter of May 10, 1954-. I suggest that you furnish a list of the documents sent to Mr. Maag to him and furnish me three copies of the list so that I shall be able to furnish the attorneys for the District a list of the documents which we expect to turn over to them. I suggest that the list indicate the date of the document, parties, audit number, and with respect to documents which have been recorded, the recording date, document number and book and page number so that your list can be checked against the lists of documents In our possession and against title reports which will be furnished by the Pioneer Title Company with respect to recorded documents. I would suggest that the documents which you send to Mr. Maag for safekeeping pursuant to subparagraph (a) of Item 1 of Exhibit "G” to the Sales Contract be the originals of the water pipe line easements granted to Las Ve-
