Hulsizer - Omahaj With reference to your File 3?03«1» connection with the transfer of the Las Vegas Water System to the Las Vegas Valley Water District pursuant to Sales Agreement, OLD Mo. 11342, Audits LA&SL-10682, UPRR-80405, LVL&W-10682, dated June 1, 1953* I am enclosing herewith, for further handling to execution on behalf of the Railroads, if satisfactory, Original, Approval Copy and five conformed copies of Grant of Easement, MLD #2845, between Railroads and Las Vegas Valley Water District granting to the Water District right of way for pipe line constructed under LYL&ICO. Work Order #785. Also attached are five (5) prints showing proposed 15-ft easement strip to the Las Vegas Valley Water District. As information, this line was completed June 4th, the cost of which was included in statement furnished by the Auditor under date of July 26, 1954, copy of which X note was furnished your Office, although it was not included in the Agreement dated June 1, 1953* In view of the fact that the Las Vegas Valley Water District / has paid for this pipeline, it is the opinion of our Law Department / that the Railroads will have to grant this easement under Section 15/ of the Sales Agreement CLD Mo. 11342, dated June 1, 1953* Law Department advises upon approval by the Executive Committee this document may be executed by the President of the Railroad Companies in accordance with Section 3# Article V, of the LAASL Bylaws, Section 6, Article V, of the Union Pacific Bylaws and delegation of authority therefor.
