It might be the best solution would be for the Las Vegas Land and Water company to buy whatever additional water might be needed from the district and continue to operate as at present. If the district took over there would be no reason to change the present rate structure which is returning a satisfactory p r o fit. So far as agricultural use is concerned, the discussion so far : envisions the sale of water on the same: plan as that;used by the United States bureau of reclamation at so much per acre fot, the price being based on 50 cents per' acre foot at the Basic, Magnesium plant plus cost of distribution.:
