\ GRANT OF EASEMENT .4 In consideration of the sum of Ten Dollars other good and valuable consideration, receipt of (w$h1i0c.h0 0)i s ahnedreby acknowledged, LOS ANGELES & SALT LAKE RAILROAD COMPANY and its les­see, UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY, Utah corporations„ Grantors, hereby grant to LAS VEGAS VALLEY WATER DISTRICT, a public corpora­tion of the State of Nevada, Grantee, its successors and assigns, right of way and easement for the construction, maintenance, oper­ation, repair and replacement of power lines and appurtenances and appurtenant work upon, over and along the strip of land hereinafter described and called “easement strip“ which extends across the lands of the Grantors, it being understood that the Grantors are contem­poraneously herewith, by separate document, granting to the Grantee, its successors and assigns, a right of way and easement for the con­struction, maintenance, operation, repair and replacement of water pailpoen g litnhee s saanidd aepapsuemretnetn anscterisp .and appurtenant work under, upon and The Grantee, its successors and assigns, their officers, agents and employees, or any contractor, his agents or employees en­gaged by the Grantee, its successors and assigns, shall have the right to enter upon, pass and repass over and along, and to deposit tools, Implements and other materials upon, said easement strip when- ever necessary for the purposes above set forth except that in exer­cising said right Grantee, its successors and assigns, shall not un­reasonably Interfere with existing uses or future uses (to the ex­tent that said future uses may be consistent with the easement here­aisns iggrnasn.ted) of said easement strip by Grantors, their successors and The easement hereby granted Is subject to all restric­tions, limitations, easements and encumbrances of record and to all wehxeitshteirn g ofr igrhetcso rdof oro tnhoetr. persons in and to the lands of the Grantors The Grantors, their successors and assigns, reserve the right to construct roads, pipe lines, wire lines over, under, along or across said easement strips and to use said easement strips, and to grant to others the right to use said easement strips, for any purpose whatsoever which will not unreasonably Interfere with the construction, maintenance, operation, repair and replacement of a power line and appurtenant facilities by Grantee, its successors and assigns, over, upon and along said easement strips.
