As consideration for the license and permission granted in this Section 1 the Water Company agrees to pay to Union Pacific rental at the rate of $2,939*^0 per year, payable at the end of each calendar year during which the license and permission herein granted shall remain in force and effect. The license and permission hereby granted shall be effect* ive as of the date hereof and may be revoked by the Railroad Corapai ies at any time by giving to the Water Company ninety (90) days* n tice in writing of such revocation, which said notice may be serve upon the Water Company personally or by United States mail at the option of the Railroad Companies. In any event the license and pe mission hereby granted shall terminate automatically and without n tice from the Railroad Companies at the time of such conveyance as to such of said facilities as the Water Company shall hereafter transfer and convey to the lias Vegas Valley Water District, a publ|j corporation of the State of Nevada, or to any other governmental body, person, firm or corporation.
