Docket No. 225.—Absorption of inbound switching charges at Sioux City, Iowa, bn inbound carload shipments of Grain. Present, no arrangements in effect; proposed, to establish rule providing for the absorption of inbound switching charges on Grain and Grain Products when forwarded to competitive points on or reached via the I. C. R. R. (See Standing Rate Committee’s report dated June 14, 1920.) Recommended that the following rule be established: The Illinois Central Railroad will absorb inbound switching charges on inbound carload shipments of Grain, when carload shipments of Grain or Grain Products are forwarded to competitive points on or reached via the Illinois Central Railroad. Refund of inbound switching authorized in connection with outbound shipments of Grain or-its P roducts^ other products on which Grain rates or Grain Product rates are authorized, shall be made only when there has been shipped over the Ilmiois Central Railroad an amount.equal to 90 per cent in weight or more of the inbound tonnage shown by freight bills surrendered.' The proper observance o f this rule will be subject to verification by the Western Weighing and'Inspection Bureau, and before refund of inbound charges is made*, the Western Weighing and Inspection Bureau shall certify that the conditions of the rule have been observed; except on cars reconsigned? on through rate or which are rebilled and freight and reconsigning charges follow to final destination, when any documentary evidence that will substantiate claim may be used by shippers. Effective October 25,1920, as announced in Rate Advice No. 3. Docket No. 226.— Sugar Beets, C. L., Newell, S. D., to Scotts Bluff, Neb. Present minimum, 30,000 lb s .; proposed minimum, marked capacity of car, except when loaded to full visible capacity, in which event actual weight will govern. Also, Lander, Wyo., to Lovell and Worland, Wyo. Present minimum, marked capacity of car; proposed minimum, marked capacity of car, except when loaded to full visible capacity, in which event actual weight will govern. (See Standing Rate Committee’s report dated June 14, 1920.) Approved recommendation of the Standing Rate Committee as follows: That the minimum weight on Sugar Beets, carloads, from Newell, S. D., to Scottsbluff, Neb., and from Lander, W yo., to Lovell and Worland, Wyo., be subject to the marked capacity of car furnished, except; when errs are loaded to their full visible capacity, actual weight will apply, but in no case less than 45,000 lbs.
