May 18, 1928 Water Supply - ly nndyl, Utah* Mr* f* H, ihieiDerbQcker» General Manager, Los Angeles* Calif* Bear Sir: Beferring to your letter of May 14th pertaining to increasing the charge for furnishing water at lynndyl, Utah: Armstrong, I helleve, is applicable to both employees of our company residing at lynndyl and water users at lynndyl who are not in the employ of the company, but it is applicable particularly to water users who are not in the employ of the company* There is some excuse for furnishing water to employees in order to make their living conditions more conformable and possibly at lynndyl the fact that we furnish water to employees serves as an inducement to them to continue in our eompanyfs service there, when otherwise they might leave the service* If the people of Lynndyl could be induced in some way to install their own water system it would relieve our company of a situation which some day, I fear, will prove embarrassing. What I said in ay letter of April 14th to Mr Yery truly yours, Mr* I. B. Armstrong
