Bennett, Los Angeles * Union Pacific Railroad Company RES Pile 174-2 As District Attorney, I was prepared to make the contention that this contract for the free use of vater men something which the Amalgamated Ploche Mines and Smelters Corporation entered Into for the benefit of their mining interests* had nothing to do with the water system as such and was discriminatory, but since the water system has changed hands and the matter is now out of court and out of th© control of the Town, I feel that this is something with which the District Attorney's office is not concerned.
