Aoril 23, 1929- File 3^ 7- / 7 r ^ Mr. Charles Adamei Referring to Mr. Knickerbocker*® letter to see of April 20th enclosing documents covering transfer of the Hawkins and Oraner water interest# as las Vegas to the las Vegas Land and Water Company: la this letter Mr. Knickerbocker asks that 1 approve the documents as to execution and forward them to you for filing with the Auditor. In accordance with our practice, however, it seems to me that the documents should be recorded before they ere formally approved as to execution. 1 have examined the documents sad find that the execution is entirely proper and legal. X therefore enclose the documents to be handled by you in accordance with the usual practice, and after their recordation if you will send them to me I will approve them as to execution. .. S.
