Mr. Maguire expresses the opinion that he does not think i t advisable to attempt to control the flow of water from this w ell, and suggests that steps should he taken to improve the land which we own at Las Vegas and use thereon for irrig a ­tion the surplus water from this w ell. I am today w riting Mr. W. R. Bracken concerning this la tte r feature, asking for his views and recommendations as to improving our land holdings at Las Vegas.
