I agree.This Commission has reduced the figures in Exhibit "B", page 13, Operating Expenses, as follows: Las Vegas Office $30,000 to $25,000 and added $3,000 for "adequacy of water case 1207" and $600 for "pensions" and reduced the joint facility rent charges from $liiit,931*00 to $105,637.72 and finds the operating expense to be $2l8,7Ul.72. >/ The Commission finds the additional necessary revenue of $25,112.U6 can be secured by an average 10$ increase in rates with proper adjustments in certain commercial rates indicated in the new schedule attached. The Commission finds Rules 1,2,3,U,5,6, and 7 reasonable. Rule 8 shall read: All service lines extending from mains to property lines and the proper shut-off shall be installed, maintained, and owned by the Water Company. Rule 8-A: The Company shall charge $5*00 for each 3/k" tapping of its water mains, to be paid by the property owner or consumer ordering the same. Rules9,10,ll,12,13,Iii, and 15 are found reasonable. Rule 16 shall read: Any advance payments heretofore made for use of water shall apply on any new rate offered and approved by the Public Service Commission of Nevada. Rule 17 and 18 in attached schedule are found reasonable. The Commission finds the effective date of attached new rates to be September 1, 1951
