I agree.C O P Y SAN FRANCISCO - March 11, 1953 Mr. E.I. Bennett, General Solicitor ^ Union Pacific Railroad Company 422 West Sixth Street ' Los Angeles 14, California m f Dear Mr. Bennett: In reply to your letter of March 6, inquiring whether or not I could be prepared for a late April or early May hearing date of the two matters Involving the Las Vegas Land and Water Company before the Nevada Public Service Commission, please be informed that the only commitments I have are during the week of April 20 before the California Public Utilities Commission. Any hearing date on or after April 27 will be satisfactory. I will arrange to leave for Los Angeles sometime next week and confer with either you or Mr. Reinhardt, or both, before going to Las Vegas. No doubt all the information needed will be available in the Company's office in Las Vegas. I will also contact Mr. Cory as you suggest, and arrange a trip to Reno and Carson City for Government witnesses. I am very pleased to learn that Mr. Maag is in Las Vegas as he is familiar with the water company's problem and his knowledge of the situation will be helpful to me and to the company. o Sincerely (Sgd) Wm. stava
