I agree.Los Angeles* March 35, 1933 9215-3^-W Mr. F. R. McHamee: Kindly note attached letter March 17th from Mr. Gray* in connection with our Las Vegas Land and Water Company operations at Las Vegas. With its return* I should appreciate very much having your reaction to the Presidents comments and questions on Page 2 of his letter. It is my understanding that we cannot hope to obtain any further increase in water rates* and that we were rather fortunate in obtaining Commission* s approval of the increased rates last year* which were in many cases actually less than those we had applied for. The Commission has already been advised of the substantial deficit accumulated in prior years* I believe, and they are not likely to consider this as a proper basis upon which to request further increases covering certain classes of service.
