Las Tagas * July 31st, 1938. Referring to ay letter June 19th to Mr# Toland regarding the public hearing held in the Court House at Las Vegaa on June l?th, by the Public Service Commission ©f Havada on the complaint of Jake Bookley regarding refusal of the Water Company to furnish him with water in Block. *H* of the Park Addition, which is located outside the limits of our mains: I now enclose, for your files, a copy of the transcript of this proceedings. le have not yet received a ruling from the Commission as to whether we will be required to serve the complainant, and in fact just received the transcript a day or a© ago. Since the case of Beckley, the Commission has received additional complaints regarding our refusal to furnish water service outside the present limits of mar roaine, and so far as 1 know we have thus far successfully defended these complaints on the ground that our first obligation is to adequately serve the customers »e already have on our mains. X will advise you further as soon as definite advice is received fro® the Commission. Please note the transcript also bears reference, on pages 40 and 42, to complaint by Chairman Sexton with regard to the manner in which our accounting has been handled as reflected by our Annual Reports to the Commission. X am indebted to Mr. Toland for his assistance in compiling our reply on this subject, copy of which ie hereto attached,
