Case, General Manager of Basic Magnesium, Incorporated. The number of employees now on Basic payroll is 4133. The number of houses heretofore constructed in Basic Townsite by Defense Plant Corporation and now occupied are 1,000 houses Additional housing now under construction, or projected and assigned to various federal agencies for development for early construction are as follows: Under construction - 75 units to accommodate four white families per unit 300 units Projected for future construction: For white families 20Q units For single white men, dormitory accommodations For negro families For single negro men, dormitory accommodations Trailer accommodations completed and under construction: In addition to the above there has been constructed a trailer park in which, at the present time there are installed by Defense Plant Corporation 320 units 324 units 175 units 146 trailers Federal Public Housing authority have recently purchased and are installing t in this trailer park 160 trailers There is space in this trailer park for privately owned trailers and there are now installed 460 trailers
