The pump in the railroad yards is being operated day and | A night, delivering over a million gallons of water per day to the city in-addition to the regular supply from the well and springs. The additional supply of water made available by the new well drilled last year by the Water Company is evidently offset by the large number of air cooling machines which have become so popular in Las Vegas in the last year or two. At the present time over 6,750,000 — .. •gallons of water per day is being delivered to Las Vegas, which ig sufficient to supply a city of 30,000 population.
