It is true that a portion is used at the Las Vegas ranch for irrigation purposes, but we are not obligated to furnish this, and receive no compensation therefor^. It would appear therefore that for the purpose of this report the w ater running down the creek should be disregarded. The wate r utilised by the railroad company is not diverted from th e stream but is received through the same transmission mains that deliver water to the Las Vegas Land and W ater Company for use in the city.
