    Aalra new section to Chapter 66, Nevada Compiled Laws 1929 leading: ”If any of the property sought to be condemned shall be owned by a public utility as defined in Section 6106 of Nevada Com­piled Laws, 1929, the court, upon application of any party to the proceeding concerned with such property, must order refer­red to the public Service Commission of Nevada the determina­tion of the value of such property, and of the damages to such public utility incident to the talcing thereof. The Clerk shall transmit to the Public Service Commission a certified copy of such order of reference and of the pleadings of the parties concerned with such issue• The Public Service Commis­sion is hereby authorized and directed to act as a referee in such matters, and in so doing shall have all the powers and duties provided in the Public Service Commission Act (except that the provisions of Section 6133* Nevada Compiled Law, 1929, shall not be applicable). The public Service Commission shall hear such testimony as may be offered by any of the par­ties concerned and shall thereupon ascertain and assess the compensation and damages to which such public utility is en­titled as provided in Section 9163, Nevada Compiled Laws, 1929 The Commission shall transmit to the Clerk its report and de­cision assessing the compensation and damages. Such report shall have the effect of a special verdict.**
