    I Las Vegas - August 17, 1948 ¥ 18-1-12-A Mr. Wm. Reinhardt: Work Order 598 authorizes the drilling of a well on the Las Vegas Ranch at an estimated cost of #12,000 to furnish water for irrigation of the Ranch property. This was prompted by a notice from the City that water could no longer be provided from the Disposal Plant because of objections by the Board of Health. for permission to appropriate four second feet from the underground supply, and this application was assigned State Engineer*s No. 12460. The Nevada Statute requires publication for 5 weeks on each application, after which there is a 30-day period during which protests may be filed. Our first publication was made June 23 and the final on July 21; the 30-day period will be up this Saturday, August 21st, after which I anticipate we will receive approval from State Engineer. stored on the Ranch.
