Adamson Industrial Engineer Union Pacific Railroad Company k-22 West Sixth Street Los Angeles l4, California Subject: Las Vegas Valley Water District Dear Mr. Adamson: As you know, some right-of-way difficulties were encountered in connection with construction of the Worth Las Vegas Feeder just west of Main Street. Due to these difficulties, it will be necessary to-use a slightly different alignment than was shown originally. The new alignment is shown on Sheet H-2 Revision 4, two copies of which are enclosed herewith. We have also revised the pipeline grade where it crosses the railroad tracks to conform to the Union Pacific standards. Enclosed also are two copies of the legal description for the easement across the Union Pacific right-of-way. Inasmuch as the Contractor has. his equipment on the job and is waiting for right-of-way clearance, we would appreciate it if you would give informal, approval pending preparation and execution of the formal easement. Very truly yours JAMES M. MONTGOMERY RCK:rw Enclosure cc: Mr. W. C. Renshaw Mr. H. L. Jones
