Mr. Wm. Reinhardt - Los Angeles Las Vegas w 23- 1 -1 2 7 - July 15, 1953 cc: E. E. Bennett I am submitting herewith Form 30 estimate and letter of submission to Mr. Stoddard covering construction of 8" pipe line in Charleston Blvd. replacing portion of existing 8" line in area vacated by the City of Las Vegas. It will be necessary for Mr. Adamson to prepare Work Order prints of his Drawing A-1101 dated June 30, 1953. Work Order as I am being called every few days by the City of Las Vegas requesting advice as to when this work will be done. This morning I also received a call from Mr. Mahlon Brown, Nevada State Senator and Attorney for a client who desires to construct a building over the location now occupied by existing 8" water line and he requested that I notify the City that it would be permissable to issue building permit at location now occupied by this water line. I advised Mr. Brown that I had not secured authority from our executives to proceed with any portion of the work covered by this project and that I could not agree to the construction of any buildings over the 8M pipe line until the new line had been constructed and the existing line abandoned and that I was not presently in a position to notify the City that it would be permissable to issue building permits in this area. I would appreciate it if you would expedite approval of this LRM/tp Enel.
