I agree. Our Engineering Department is working on a segregation of the cost and expenses of the water service from the real estate feature, and also of the proper apportionment of the original cost and maintenance, including interest and fixed charges laid out and expended for a period of some years past by the railroad, properly chargeable to Las Vegas Land & later Go* account. This data, which will be completed in the near future, will enable you to make the necessary segregation on your books, which will reflect the actual profit or loss in the operation of our water distributing system for the year 1928, and probably for the years immediately preceding, suggested and not attempt any segregation on the accounts until you get the report from the engineers. I would write the Public Service Commission along the lines F, R, McSamee cc Mr, A. S, Halsted^ Mr, R, L, Adamson.
