MEMORANDUM FOB FILE 7J?^ '— Lob Angeles, July 18, 1951 Referring to the attached papers relative to installing telemetering system, automatic starting and time delay equipment for motors in existing booster stations and wells, etc., and installing alarm warning system to protect pumping operations at wells and booster stations in event of power failure, Las Vegas, Nevada} and he instincts that we do nothing in the matter at this time on the basis that pumpers are on 2h-hour duty around-the-clock and they should be able to watch very closely the operation of the booster stations and well pumps and in the event of a power failure place these pumps in operation as quickly as possible after the power is turned on again. I discussed this matter quite thoroughly with Mr. Reinhardt R. L. ADAMSON CG - Mr. L. R. Maag. V/ f /S7
