I agree.m V Las Vegas - August 27, 1951 Mr* Wm* Reinhardt? Referring to my letter of August 16 concerning water shortage August 15th and 16th, and with particular reference to service along West Charleston KLvd* west of the County Hospital* Mr. Martin has investigated the cause of failure of motor on well #10 and in his opinion the failure was due to faulty motor construction* Mr* Martin again cautioned all pumpers concerning the necessity of maintaining adequate water level, particularly in the Charleston Reservoirs, to permit continuous.pumping operation at not less than 29# during period, 6 A*M, to midnight which is necessary to adequately serve the West Charleston Area* In view of the difficulties experienced during the past two months, I believe consideration should he given to the installation of automatic resetting equipment, also booster pumps of sufficient capacity to handle the Westleigh, McNeil, Wollenzein and Mountain View Estate Tracts with necessary pressure regulating valves* I am advised the residents in this area propose to file complaint with the Nevada Public Service Commission demanding the situation be corrected* WM. h AUG 31
