Specimen copies of the Insurance policies are on file and may be seen at the Divi­sion Office of the Union Pacific Railroad Company. with. Please advise whether the Provisional limits we have set up for Liability and Property Damage coverages are satisfactory. Unless we receive instructions from you to the contrary the limits shown on the "Cover Note" will be used when policies are issued. Please advise us if you let any sub-contracts on this job in order that we may provide similar insurance protection for the sub-contractors. Pending receipt of forms and instructions for reporting accidents, please see that injured persons are given proper attention, within the limits of the Insurance Carriers' Liability* In other words* handle these cases as you have in the past, but notify the Insurance Company promptly of their occurrence. In order that there be no duplication of the insurance against the hazards referred to above, it is essential that your present insurance carriers be instructed to exclude from their policies the named perils insured against as outlined above and for which the Union Companies pay the premium direct through this office. We shall endeavor, in the administration of this plan, to comply with your re­quirements within the scope of our authority as outlined herein and we trust that we shall have your cooperation in all matters pertaining thereto.
