Los Angeles* June 16* 1944 7334 Mr. J. M. Anderson: Referring to ay letter of June 8, 1944 concerning operation of chlorlnator at Las Vegas: Mr. Fricke of Wallace & Tiernan Co., which furnished this unit* advises it is possible due to syphonic act that the chlorine may continue to flow after the pump shuts off. He stated this condition may be corrected by installing a 1 /2 inch silver tee in the chlorine line between the chlorlnator and the point of application and then attaching to the tee a 5* or 6* length of 1/2 inch hose in an upright position. This will break the syphon and stop the chlorine flow. if you find this is our trouble arrange to install tee and hose as indicated above.
