    At 4:30AM, Wednesday, May 18th, 1938, weir m e a s u r e m e n t s were t a k e n of the entire water supply f r o m wells a n d springs at Las Vegaaj present were: Walter E. Bracken - LVL&WCo. T, E. Connol y it A. M, Folger w Wes Neeley 19 0. X), Baker City Engineer 0, H, Jam e s o n State Water Surveyor All valves were closed on transmission mains at the reservoir, and all water permitted to flow over w e i r at settling basin. Measurement developed a head of 8,4 inches, over a 48-inoh weir, which equalled, according $o the table, 7.53 second feet* By computation, this was equal to 4,859,965,44 gallons per day, a decrease of a p p r o x i m a t e l y 1 per cent compared w i t h the February 1938 m e a s u rement of 4,933,590 g a l l o n s per day* Office of T i c e President, Las Vegas, Nevada, May 18 , 1938.
