I agree.Los Angeles, March 4, 1942 6 Mr. Prank Strong: Referring to your requisitions Nos. 64-46 and 64- 54 applying on our purchase orders 6-SD 749-A and 750-A: I quote letter from the Howard Supply Company which is self-explanatory: "Confirming our telephone conversation, we wish to advise that the steel plates have already been cut and are ready to be rolled into 16" O.D. casings. We have asked Western Pipe & Steel to hold this material in their stock and manufacture a like amount of 18" O.D. 1/4" wall. We have also increased your orders covering the reducers to be two on each order. Will you please advise us at your earliest convenience what the disposition on the 3/16" plates will be." Will you kindly advise disposition you desire made of 3/16" plates which were originally intended for rolling into the 16" pipe. C . UC. cc - Mr. F. E. Cragin
