It will be necessary to report all the unused mater­ials on hand on form 128-1, inventory as of May 1, 1946., and before typing the attached pencil statement, we suggest that it be cheeked with your purchase requisitions or ship­ping notices to determine if the quantities are correct. We have not been furnished with all the shipping notices or copies of purchase orders, in fact, I understand the Auditor receives receipted manufacturers shipping notices from you, therefore we are not in possession of ail the available information. Deductions have been made for all materials charged out on form 502-1, todate. Kindly return statement with any changes or correct­ions you may eonsidar necessary. J. F. Mack.
