Big Spring - cap aoity 1.53 second f e e t . L i t t l e Spring Iff " 1.47 " ” The above sources supply a l l the water that is a v a i l ­able fo r C ity use and the major p ortion o f that used fo r B a il-road purposes. Measurements were made on September 6 , 1928 and t o t a l 8.96 second fe e t , or 4023 gallon s per minute. The flo w from Middle Spring, amounting to 0.65 second f e e t , cannot be made a v a ila b le fo r use at Las Vegas on account % o f e le v a tio n o f spring and contaminated co n d itio n o f the water; however, th is flow is u t iliz e d at the Banch fo r ir r ig a t in g pur­poses; als-o, that part o f the water not used from the other sources is c a rried down Las Vegas Creek to the Banch.
