Crawford-Las Vegas) Referring to your letter of November 12, file 4-2, addressed to Messrs, Cragin and Crawford, pertaining to Shipping Notices, Nos* 2 to 5 , inclusive, covering surplus material returned to the Store in connection with W0-3lg0. When at Las Vegas recently, and before seeing the copy of your letter, I was making a check of material sent back to Store after completion of Veil No, 11 and I was of the opinion that it did not appear necessary to retain the entire quantity of various items for emergency stock, in connection with the notation shown on shipping notice No* 2 reading, "Hold for Emergency Stock per request of FS", In the case of thfe Transite pipe, our check at Las Vegas shows that we actually received the following from the particular Well just referred to, which you will see does not tally with the quantity listed on the shipping notice.
