Referring to your letter of January 8th, your file 42/24-20-17, relative to disposition of secondhand transite pipe released as a result of pipe line changes at Las Vegas. On account of the slow deliveries of materials of this character and our responsibility for maintaining water service at Las Vegas, I do not feel that it is safe to release this pipe and recommend that it be held at Las Vegas for possible repairs or extensions. is - « 8 /
