As advised in war letter of September 87, 1950, at hearing before Nevada Public Service Commission regarding complaint of the City of Las Vegas of insufficient water supply, we agreed to install punps cm one or aero of three wells in effort to increase water production approximately 4,000,000 gallons per day* For your information, I an attaching copy of pages 387, 168 and 169 of transcript of testimony before the Commission which set out the commit­ments we made at the hearing* Tests have now been oompleted, and indicate in­stallation of pumps on Wells New* 8, 10 and 11 will increase production approximately 5,500,000 gallons per day. In previous discussions we had considered installation of pump on w e l l No* 9, but cur testa indicate greater Increase in production ean be obtained from w e l l No* 8, and if further increase is necessary, ws can later Install pump on w e l l No. 9* I recommend approval, and will appreciate wire advice in order that we may make report to the Commission before January 1, 1951* A* F* 8* data is attached to Mr* Perkins* oopy* Win* Reinhardt
