I am enclosing four copies each of two forms of water contract for use in the sale of water by the Rail­road Company to consumers in oux recently established industrial areas, west of Main Street, Las Vegas, Nevada. You will note one form la to cover use for exclusive domestic and business purpose and the other is to cover arrangements where fir© protection also is desired, by the industry. When requests for water service in the areas re­ferred to are received, they should be followed up promptly by the Division people and arrangements concluded &s would be the case with any other water agreement. Re­quests received in this office will be promptly sent you for the attention of the Division people, and In order that industrial officers may be advised of the situation advice of requests received by you or the Division people should be given promptly to Messrs. Robertson and Frank Strong with copies of letters to this office, arrangements with the industries at the same time to proceed promptly, in other words, these arrangements are to be proceeded with in the same manner as in any other cases where water is furnished* excerpt that advice of what is in progress is to be given as above indicated. kindly arrange at once to cover with agreements those arrangements now in effect in the areas mentioned, A supply of these forms is being sent the Law Department, it being the intention that the agreements be prepared there as is the case with other contracts.
