going to Pioche to take up the refunding business with the Board at this meeting. Referring to Las Vegas again, what plan has been agreed upon fo r the opening and sale of lots? In order to avoid a ll chance fo r criticism on the ground of favoritism , it seems to me registration of application5? should be allowed fo r a stated period, say ten days before the opening, or the f i r s t sale o f lands should be by public auction. Having been clo se ly id en tified with th is property from the very f i r s t and always having taken a deep interest in the matter o f the establishment of a townsite there, I would lik e very much, i f it can be arranged, to have charge of the opening and to have general supervision a fte r that time. Yours very resp ectfu lly.
