?Injury Case - Homer Thompson 8. (continued) This Is confirmed by Superintendent Doyle. 9. The last day Thompson worked was Deoember 2b, 1953, and he was separated from the payroll effective on that data. 10. Thompson did not return for work on Monday, Deoember 28, 1953. He did return to the Water Company and requested re-employment about January 25, 195b. There was no opening for him, and be was not re-employed. I understand from Nr. M. I. Davis that he then went to the Railroad Company and made application for employment, at whloh time they sent him to the dootor, and Mr. Davis understands that the dootor rejected him because of 11. The dootor called Mr. Davis on Friday, January 29th, 195b, and Informed him that the boy had a hernia, and he felt the hernia was oaused during the time he was employed by this company, and he felt that we should re-employ this man and arrange for hospitalisation to oarreot the hernia, at whloh time Mr. Davis notified Mr. Doyle and Nr. Haag to arrange for discussion of the matter. Dr. Demmen sent the nan over, and Thompson said the dootor Informed him that the hernia was oaused during the time he was employed by the Water Company and he felt that the Water Company should re-employ him.
