Bennett Referring to Contract Audit Ho. 10571 dated January 29, 1951 with Federal Development Co. covering installation of water mains to serve Tract 1, Westleigh Addition, Las Vegas and Contract NLD 2502 dated September 18, 1951 covering water main to serve Tract Ho. 2: Due to delay in securing City approval of the balance of the Subdivision, the Subdivider has deferred completion of all of the mains in the Tracts 1 and 2 as covered by the agreements and as it appears it will be some time before the balance of the work can be completed, I believe it desirable to amend the present agreements to cover the work as performed. Will you please prepare amendatory agreements, data for which follows* Changes in Agreement Audit Ho. 1057 Subdivider agrees: 1. At its own expense to furnish all necessary materials and labor and to construct 1109 feet of 8“ and 1772 feet of 6“ water mains in the fallowing location: Commencing at the intersection of Douglas Drive and the north line of Charleston Boulevard, thence southerly in Douglas Drive a distance of 6?3 feet to an end near Ashby Avenue; then commencing at a connection with the above line in Douglas Drive at the alley in Block 2 of said Tract, thence easterly insald alley to Barnard Drive, thence southerly in Barnard Drive a distance of feet to an end at Ashby Avenue; then commencing at a connection With said line in Douglas Drive at the alley in Block 3, thence westerly in the alley in Blocks 3 and k to Melville Drive, thence southerly in Melville Drive a distance of 436 feet to an end near Ashby Avenue; then commencing at connection with the line in said Blocks 3 and h at the intersection of D&rmak Drive, thence southerly in Darmak Drive a distance of kZ6 feet to an end near Ashby Avenue, together with the construction of 102 feet of 6* oast iron fire hydrant connections as directed by City authorities. The cost of construction of said water lines (exclusive of said fire hydrant connections) is agreed to be the sum of #11^590*90*
