IN 1946 WE RECAPTURED PRODUCTION OF MIDDLE SPRING AND UTILIZED SAME FOR SIT* SUPPLY, PRACTICALLY DRYING UP THE CREEK. THE 64,600 GALLONS UNAVOIDABLE OVERFLOW FROM RESERVOIR WAS OBTAINED FROM WEIR AND RECORDER INSTALLED IN CREEK. QUANTITIES SHOWN ITEM FOUR USED BY UPHR AND LVL&W ARE CORRECT. THE DECREASE IN THE AMOUNT USED BY UPRR DUE TO USE OF DIESELS INSTEAD OF STEAM LOCOMOTIVES AND CORRESPONDING INCREASE IN QUANTITY USED BY LVL&W DUE TO INCREASE NUMBER OF CONSUMERS AMF
