Shamberger Dear Hugh: Referring to our application to drill a well on the Las Vegas Ranch, State Engineer's Mo. 124601 fhe 30-day period of waiting after final publication expired yesterday and as no protests were filed 1 assume the permit will be granted. We have the easing on hand and are anxious to start drilling as soon as possible. In order to expedite the permit, I am enclosing my check for forty dollars (#40,00), which is at ths rats of $10,00 per second foot applied for, and will appreciate anything you can do to expedite the permit.
