I agree.*-** Vegas - January d, 19U6 n z - & Mr, Frank Strong} ( oc - Mr. v. T. Pries Mr. 0. M. Cory) Reftrring to your letter December 20 to Mr. Oory» fll# 733^, regarding preparation of 5-year lease to Jerry Masek dba Lao Vegas Distributing Company* Confirming our phone conversation last night, Mr. Mm*9k now requests a 10-y«&r lease on thio property if it can bo arranged. Whan ho flrot made application for a 5-yoar lease, ho expected to amortise tho coat of the building over a 5-year period, but ho now l a * m e that under the tax regulations he cannot do so. If he could sooura a 10-year lease from tho Railroad Company it would assist hi* oonsidorably in obtaining necessary finances for construction of the building, which ho on-timates will oost #50,000. I hare asked Mr. Cory to temporarily withhold proparatlon of the lease until further advice from you. Masok is getting along very well with cleaning up the lot where fire damage oooured, and has most of the debris removed. A, M. Polger
