Referring to your letter April 20 transmitting a print of "Valve Box and Sewer Details* showing proposed adjustment of valve box and oover near the inter-eeotion of Main Street and Charleston Boulevard, in connection with proposed construction of Underpass at Charleston Boulevard in las Vegas: X hav# no objection to the Highway Department making minor changes in elevation and such changes in structural details of valve box lids as they consider necessary providing they assume responsibility for the work and will furnish ample protection for our valves, piping, etc., inside the boxes during construction.
