Please see your file 1-7336 of January 16, 1967* The owners have now sold the southerly portion of this tract to iteuben Specktor of 3^3 North 10th Street, has Vegas, who wishes to procsed with the installation of water mains in his portion of the tract so he can com­mence the construction of 6? houses. Be purchased Blocks 3* 6, 5* 6 and hots 3 to ?, Inclusive, in Slock 2. Maeteroraft Homes, Inc., retained ownership of Block 1 and propose to construct apartments on hots 1 and 2 of Block 2 and hots 5 and 6 of Block 1. They will ad­vance the oost of water sain from Charleston Boulevard to the alley between H o o k a 1 and 6 In Hillside Place, a dis­tance of about 500 feet. Specktor will advance the esti­mated cost of the remainder in Hillside Place, as well as the stains In Perk Paseo, Chapman Drive and 17th Street and from Park Paseo south, a distance of about 2&30 feet* 1 attach revised estimates based on present day costs for the extension requested by Specktor and the one requested by Masteror&ft in the amounts of #9300 and $1880, respectively. The total is well within the present Work Order authority because the proposed line in 17th Street in front of Sleek 7 is eliminated; and the 8-inoh line on Charleston Boulevard has already been installed under another Work Order, VO-608, by Crestwood Homes* If you see no objection, £ will arrange with the haw Department to draw separate agreements to cover the two extensions.
