Las Vegas - February 1, 1945 W 18-6-2 Mr. W. u. Jeffers: As a matter of Information I enclose copy of our letter to the Auditor for his use In compiling the Annual Report to Public Service Commission of Nevada, covering our operations for the year 1944. The number of consumers continues to show an increase (6$) although not so pronounced as in the previous year. Revenues also increased - 13$. The total gallons consumed increased 13.9$, due partly to more locomotives watered and partly to the increase in our consumers. We made no water main extensions to Defense Housing projects as in previous years, and the increase in pipe footage was due to our taking over the pipe lines and opera » tions of the G-ranview Water Company, effective May 1, 1944.
