March 31, 1945 Mr. J. H. Brinley Assistant Superintendent - Education Las Vegas High School Las Vegas, Nevada Dear Harold: Referring to our conversation some time ago regarding low water pressure at the High School during the summer months particularly on the second floor where the drinking fountain Is located. With a view to improving the water service we are Installing a new 12 Inch main on Clark Street from 5th past the LDS Church and at 8th Street we propose to Install a large main northerly from Clark Street to adequately supply the High School. I a® not familiar with the arrangement of plumbing Inside the school blocks but had in mind that you might wish to rearrange the water line leading into the school property. If you wish we could give you a larger connection leading in fro® 8th Street between the Gymnasium and Handball Court, or most any place you wish. Perhaps you would like to discuss this with Miss Frazier. Yours very truly, A. m . FoL&fifi AMF/kc
