I agree.Las Vegas - Hay 19, 1944 R 2-113 Hr. A. C. Ritters four letter May 9, file no.> X-3302-1925 regarding lease of South Main Street frontage to Ralph S. Purdy. I discussed the matter at length with Mr. Purdy May 12, and advised hi® the industrial tract was for use of rail shippers and that we were not agreeable to leasing the land to any party for the purpose of subleasing at a profit. He stated he had not thought of subleasing at a profit, but Intended to receive shipment for himself and others until such time as the agency for beer, shipment was returned to him. I attach a copy of his letter to me on this subject which Is self explanatory. In conversing with Contractor Harrison Stocks he .confirms the negotiations between himself and Hr. Purdy for constructing a building. Under the circumstances I suggest we hold the matter In abeyance to await further development. Walter ft.bracken
