There is enclosed also *8111 of Sale* and "Easement* which I will thank you to pass to the Legal Department for approval and filing with the Auditor. X enclose copy of ay letter March 30th to Dr, Shipley regarding construction of houses and watsr mains in Block 8, covered by Agreement N.L.D. 878a, on Which no progress has been made. In conversation with their Con­tractor, Gene Clark yesterday, we were again advised that plans for this construction were abandoned because Dre. nelson and Shipley were convinced that the construction of houses in Las Vegas at this time was being overdone. My thought ie that if we could secure from them a definite statement to that effeot in writing, we could arrange to abrogate the second Contract *H.L.D. 878a* and close out the work order with the present expenditures, till you kindly see if you can contact Dr. Shipley at the address shown, in Los Angeles, or his attorney, Mr. Welch at telephone Ho.
