Bennett, General Solicitor Union Pacific Railroad Company 422 West Sixth Street LOS ANGELES 14 CALIFORNIA Dear Mr. Bennett: This is in reference to the real estate called water-bearing lands and the rights-of-way for the water and power lines. I have approximately checked the acreage of the lands, by map, but I have had trouble agreeing with Mr. Wehe on the acreage of 19.&5 f°r rights-of-way. On the attached sheet are my computations. Would you be so kind as to pass them on to whoever will check them for you, and then advise me, Mr. Wehe corrected his testimony given on Page 103 of the transcript in the rate case by saying on Page 104 that the correct width of the rights- of way was 20 feet, irrespective of whether it was for water or power line. ( I refer to the June hearings, paged independently from April transcript) Thanking you for passing this on to your engineer for a check, I am Yours very truly, nowa.ru r . uxarct Chief Engineer and Manager, i incl.
