Bear Leo: Referring to your letter of the 16th relative to desire of the local Water District to retain you as its counsel in legal matters: Z see no reason uhy you should not accept a retainer from the district to handle their legal matters provided you do not represent it in case of litigation suoh as condemnation proceedings between the Water District and the Las Vegas Land and Water Company or the railroad company. As a matter of fact, it will greatly facilitate matters if you are so retained as you are familiar with the problems of the Water Company and will soon become familiar with the Water District problems.
