October 8, 1953 80-8 Holmes & Narver, Inc. 828 South Figueroa Street Los Angeles IT# California Attention: Mr. E. 0. Bowen Dear Mr. Bowen: In line with our phone conversation today, I am enclosing a copy of a report of the Las Vegas Valley Water District, prepared by Greeley and Hansen, a Chicago engineering firm. The report, as you will note, is dated in October 19^9# but will give you a general Idea of the proposed plan of the Water District at that time. Since then, I have no doubt that Mr. Montgomery, the engineer whom I mentioned to you, has undoubtedly suggested various physical changes in the proposed plan, all of which you can get from him or from the Water District. I apologize for the condition of the report and the fact that some of the pages look like they were about the tenth carbon eopy* In fact, some of them were so bad I had a few retyped so I could read them. I also enclose a copy of what I believe is the outstanding agreement between the Las Vegas Valley Water District and Basic Management,Inc., granting to the Water District the right to use existing facilities of Basic Management, Inc., which facilities now bring water from Lake Mead to Basic's plant and the town of Henderson. I believe this is the final copy of the agreement, but 1 have never secured a conformed copy. I have no doubt some of your engineers know the situation
